The exhibition stall at Acetech 2019 in Mumbai was designed for JBR Coatings showcasing the Limocoat luxury surface finishes. The idea was for the entire structure to stand as a display of various textures and finishes offered by Limocoat. Assembly of curved panels of different sizes formed the tunnel enclosure for visitors. The continuous panel strips were divided by varying textures and shades of limocoat creating a dynamic effect. The panels also housed shelves to hold samples and catalogues within. This multi functionality of the panels as the structure, display and storage was seamlessly achieved for maximum utility in a small space. This design approach made available a lot of circulation and observation space required in exhibitions. An obstruction-free space omitted the chaos and presented free flowing plan. The stenciled limocoat logo, laser-cut motif panel and the brand clock were uniquely made for luxurious yet a subtle branding experience. The lighting was used to highlight desired textures and surfaces adding a sense of drama to the place. A minimal budget, execution, on-site assembling, and other design challenges were meticulously met in a small time span to deliver a minimal luxury structure.
