Maintenance Hangars with office , engineering & MRO facilities - Duke aviation limited

Proposed to be located at the MIHAN SEZ-Nagpur, as the next big infrastructure
development for Indian aviation, the program prompted the need for state of the art aircraft
maintenance services under one roof. These included servicing almost all types of
commercial planes including giants like A380, B747-400, etc., in a plot area of 39.26 acres.
The site was, also, neighbouring the new Boeings MRO facility for the Asian market, hence,
making it a strategic destination. The facility was planned to cater painting, refurbishing,
manufacturing of spare parts, maintenance, warehouses, workshops and testing of aircrafts.
Based on the number of PEB structures with variable heights, the concept evolved to unify
them by means of an envelope to visually bind as a single facility within. A multi-storey
corporate block was located centrally at the rear portion of the complex surrounded with
landscape.
