Corporate office + product display showroom – Boon edam entrance systems india pvt ltd
A global brand more than 140 years in service tagged as ‘Your Entry Experts’ wished to
establish a headquarter office base in India along with a showroom connected to their
assembly unit. The idea is to reflect the house colours as the main theme of the design. The
staggering strips of these colours in laminate finish formed the entrance backdrop and the
central spine, which flange into various spaces such as open staff working zones, cabins
and conference room. These strips towards the conference area alternating with clear glass
panes double up as the partition and filling storage units, and thus, camouflaging the central
columns along the length. The end of corridor and the conference space opens into a wide
spread showroom displaying live scale products. The overall space is enveloped with hues
of greys reflected in the ceiling, floor and wall panels with a vivid play of suspended ceiling
light fixtures spread along depth of the office.
